Coffee Morning
Every Monday (except school holidays) a Coffee Morning is held in the Village Hall from 11.00 a.m.-12.00 p.m. A small charge of 30p is made to cover costs and any profits are divided between the Village Hall and the Church. Everyone is welcome – the span of ages has ranged from 8 months to over 80, male and female so do come along to catch up on the latest news and gossip! There is usually no coffee morning during the school holidays.
The Book Group
Meets once a month on the second Wednesday to discuss a selected book. Future meetings and books are listed in the calendar. Meetings take place at Lilac Cottage, Grateley Rd, Cholderton starting at 7.30 pm. Any queries phone Gillian Cartwright 01980-629269.
The Village Hall
The Village Hall has recently been refurbished and redecorated and now has an excellent halogen heating system, plus brand new kitchen facilities and male/female toilets. It is available to hire for private parties and functions, conferences, meetings or training days. If you wish to discuss a booking please contact Gillian Cartwright tel: 01980 629269. The Village Hall Committee are organizing a variety of events throughout the year which have included a quiz, barn dance, arts events and of course the Christmas party : please support these and check the calendar and village hall pages for details or watch out for posters in the village.
